Refund Policy

This Refund Policy is incorporated into and forms part of the Terms of Service for SMRN ("Seal My Record Now," "SMRN," "we," "us," or "our").


1. ALL SALES ARE FINAL

The Services consist of digital documents that are delivered to you instantly upon payment and download. Because of the nature of the Services, all sales are final and no refunds are issued under any circumstances, except for the narrow exceptions in Section 5 below.

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that:


2. THE DOWNLOAD GATE — A 24-HOUR PRE-DELIVERY WINDOW

To make this policy fair and unambiguous, we use a two-step delivery process:

  1. Payment. When you complete payment via Stripe, the documents are prepared and reserved for you, but they are not yet delivered.
  2. Download. You must then click a clearly labeled "Download my documents" button on the post-payment confirmation page (or in your account dashboard) to actually receive the digital files.

We log the date, time, and IP address of your click. Once you click the Download button, delivery is complete and the no-refund policy applies in full. This applies even if you have not yet opened, read, or used the downloaded files.

If you have completed payment but have not yet clicked the Download button, you may request a full refund by emailing refunds@sealmyrecordnow.com within 24 hours of payment. The refund will be issued through Stripe to your original payment method, typically within 5-10 business days. After the 24-hour window OR after the Download click (whichever comes first), no refund is available.


3. PRICE CHANGES

Prices listed on the Site at the time of your purchase are the prices that apply to your order. We may change prices at any time, but those changes do not affect orders that have already been placed.


4. CHARGEBACKS

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your card issuer or bank for a transaction that does not qualify for a refund under this Policy, we reserve the right to:

Filing a chargeback for a digital good you have downloaded may also constitute consumer fraud under applicable law.


5. NARROW EXCEPTIONS

The following exceptions apply, regardless of whether you have downloaded:

6. NO WARRANTY OF OUTCOME

No refund is available based on the outcome of your court petition. We do not guarantee that any petition prepared using our Services will be granted by the court. The court has full discretion under Arizona law to grant or deny a petition based on:

A denial of your petition by the court is not a failure of our Services. Our Services consist of preparing the documents required by Arizona statute. We have prepared the documents based on your answers; whether the court grants the petition is beyond our control.

If the court denies your petition, you may have the option to re-file after a statutory waiting period (e.g., three years under A.R.S. § 13-911). Any re-filing requires a new purchase from us; we do not provide free re-filings under this Policy.

We will respond within 5 business days. We are not obligated to refund any request that does not fall within the narrow exceptions in Section 5 or the 24-hour pre-Download window in Section 2.


8. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase is the version that applies to your order. We will not retroactively apply more restrictive refund terms to orders already placed.


This Policy is part of the Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.
